Ricky Pyne, a professional poker player from Central Florida, witnessed the suspect breaking free of handcuffs, biting a deputy, and attempting to seize a taser. Without hesitation, Pyne ran in and helped deputies bring the suspect under control.

I just saw people in danger and knew I couldnt stand by, said Pyne. It wasnt about being braveit was just about doing what was right.

Footage of the incident and coverage by FOX 35 Orlando show Pyne assisting law enforcement officers in subduing the suspect, Pedro Rivera, who now faces 18 charges.
